| About the Betty Scheck Shuffle The Betty Scheck Shuffle is named in memory of the late Betty Scheck who lost her life to cancer in 1997. Betty was very active in the North Riverside Community and her positive attitude and involvement in the crusade against cancer as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society touched many lives. We honor her spirit and her commitment to finding a cure for this disease by bringing people together each year to celebrate her life and the lives of all of those that have been touched by cancer. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 2401 Des Plaines Ave. in North Riverside. |
